Our History

Little Hands Montessori Kindergarten has been teaching young children for over 15 years – inspiring them as they learn and grow. Preparing them for primary school and life as independent learners.

Both Principals – Ms Lee Chue Lin and Ms Alison Tan – had always dreamed of starting up their own Montessori preschools. Both travelled to London, England, to study the Montessori Method, and continued on to gain their preschool Principal qualifications. With the addition of Ms Kathryn Massey, the school has grown to offer a fantastic reading programme, performing arts classes and holiday camps that build on children’s confidence and enthusiasm for the arts.

2007

Little Hands merged with Little Raindrops Preschool in Paterson Hill. Established in 1994 by Ms Alison Tan, Little Raindrops was run on the same Montessori principles as Little Hands. The merger of the two schools in 2007 enabled the school to expand and offer a wider variety of learning components to its young students.

The addition of Ms Kathryn Massey brought a passion of performing arts to Little Hands – growing the school’s programme to provide performing arts classes and holiday camps that build on children’s confidence and enthusiasm for the arts.

2000

Little Hands Montessori Kindergarten opened its doors in June 2000, owned and managed by its Principal, Ms Lee Chue Lin.
